Morgan Pryce, the leading London office search company, is finding it a real challenge to locate suitable Covent Garden office space for some of its current clients.
“The market is really tight at the moment for good Covent Garden offices, especially around the 2000 square foot mark. We currently have three Media clients looking for offices to lease in Covent Garden of this size and we have to dig deep into the market to find suitable options” says Tom Lax, Agent with Morgan Pryce. “Most of the deals we have done recently in Covent Garden have been off-market and our knowledge of this local market, and of landlords with stock coming available, is proving a major reason behind our success in fulfilling these briefs.”
The lack of recent investment in Covent Garden office space by landlords, combined with the continued expansion of the Media and Online industries, has meant that demand is rising whilst supply has remained static.
