Gaw Capital secures QBE Insurance letting for Exchange Tower

In the largest office letting outside the main Canary Wharf estate since 2016, QBE Insurance has taken up 31,796 sq ft of office space on a 10-year lease in Exchange Tower from Gaw Capital as part of its technology services consolidation programme.

The global insurer joins other prestigious tenants at the site, including CLS Group, Booking.com and AET Tankers.

Around 45,000 sq ft of space remains available in the 480,000 sq ft, six-storey building, comprising suites ranging from approximately 3,000 sq ft to 16,000 sq ft.

Josh Lamb, director in the office agency team at Savills — which advised Gaw Capital on the deal — said: “The nine-acre Harbour Exchange Campus has proven an attractive location for office occupiers seeking high-quality office space at an affordable price point. The combination of curated public spaces, easy transport links and a good range of amenities on site is unique for the area.”
