Sellar begins £825 million Paddington Square regeneration

Construction has officially started on the £825 million transformation of the Paddington Station area. The project will offer 360,000 sq ft of office space and 75,220 sq ft of dining and retail space, as well as a 13,650 sq ft rooftop restaurant and a 1.35 acre public square.

The new scheme will also deliver £65 million for the construction of a new Bakerloo Line ticket hall in Paddington Station.

Chief executive at Sellar, James Sellar, says: “Paddington has always been a gateway to London and a centre of innovation, and we look forward to creating a scheme that is a reflection of both a forward-thinking area, and a future facing city.”

Work is due to be completed by 2022.
